Owner / Veterinarian
Dr. Renee Smith is the owner of Lindale Veterinary Clinic, a Christian based, family oriented corporation. Renee earned her bachelor of science (1992) and doctor of veterinary medicine (1996) degrees from Texas A & M University. She enjoys working with both large and small animals. Dr. Smith is one of the few veterinarians in the state certified in PennHip and Canine Rehabilitation from the Canine Rehab Institute. She emphasizes client education and feels that it greatly enhances pet health. She wants to work with owners to achieve optimum health and quality of life for their pets. She focuses her interests in medicine, surgery, physical therapy, veterinary dentistry, and radiology.
She is a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association and the Texas Veterinary Medical Association. She enjoys traveling, scuba diving, camping and hiking, and spending time with her family. Renee and her husband, Kelly, currently reside in Wood County on their small ranch with their four children Rachel, Jason, Aubree, and Sarah and three grandchildren.
